I made a great breakfast this morning. Home-made facon and pancakes. Simple, traditional, awesome. Marvel at my perfectly staged breakfast photo!

- I used the instant pot to steam the seitan. Use the steam function, with the steamer insert in the instant pot. I steamed it for 20 minutes, but it's a bit tough - I might reduce the amount of time next time around.
- Mix soy sauce, maple syrup and liquid smoke in a mixing bowl.
- Slice seitan thinly, then throw it in the bowl and mash it around to get it all coated.
- Fry it in oil until it is crispy.
